Chilled Tomato Cheese Soup
|Condensed cream of tomato soup||10 3⁄4 Ounce (1 Can)|
|Light cream||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Prepared horseradish||1 Teaspoon|
|Lemon juice||1 Teaspoon|
|Bottled hot pepper sauce||To Taste|
|Cream-style cottage cheese||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
1) Combine together the cream, tomato soup, lemon juice, horseradish and some dashes of hot pepper sauce.
2) Beat well till the ingredients have blended thoroughly.
3) Add the cottage cheese, 1/2 teaspoon salt and a dash of pepper. Stir well.
4) Chill the preparation.
5) Serve the chilled soup into chilled bowls and sprinkle with chopped onion tops of chives, if preferred. Serve as an appetizer or quick snack.
