Chilled Beet Soup
|Canned diced beets||16 Ounce (1 Can)|
|Chicken broth||1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)|
|Lemon juice||1 Tablespoon|
|Ground cloves||3 Dash|
|Lemon slices||4 (For Garnishing)|
1. In a blender, blend together the un-drained beets and onion slice to form a smooth mixture.
2. In a bowl combine together the beet mixture, chicken broth, lemon juice, sugar, salt, pepper, and ground cloves; mix well.
3. Cover and chill thoroughly before serving.
4. Serve the soup in chilled bowls; top each serving with lemon slices and green onion.
