Old Fashioned Vegetable Soup

Ingredients
  Soup bones/1 pound beef short ribs 2 Pound
  Water 2 Quart
  Salt 1 Teaspoon
  Celery salt 1 Teaspoon
  Onion 1 Small, chopped
  Diced carrots 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Diced celery 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Diced potatoes 2 Cup (32 tbs)
  Canned whole kernel corn 1 Pound (1 Can, Not Drained)
  Canned tomatoes 1 Pound, cut up (1 Can)
  Turnips 2 , peeled, finely chopped
Directions

Place meat, water, salt, celery salt, onion, carrots, and celery in slow-cooking pot.
Cover and cook on low 4 to 6 hours.
Remove bones; chop meat and return to pot.
Add potatoes, corn, tomatoes, and turnips.
Cover and cook on high for 2 to 3 hours.
Makes 8 to 10 servings.
