Split Pea Soup

Ingredients
  Split peas 1 Pound (1 Package)
  Ham bone/2 ham hocks 1 (With Some Meat Left On)
  Carrot 1 , diced
  Onion 1 , diced
  Celery stalk 1 , diced
  Water 2 Quart
  Salt 1 Teaspoon
  Pepper 1⁄4 Teaspoon
Directions

Combine ingredients in slow-cooking pot.
Cover and cook on low for 8 to 10 hours.
Remove ham bone; cut meat off, dice, and return meat to soup.
Makes 8 servings.
