Versatile Lentil Soup

Ingredients
  Lentils 4 1⁄2 Ounce, rinsed (Uncooked, Sorted)
  Water 1 1⁄2 Quart
  Carrots 1 Cup (16 tbs), diced
  Celery 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), diced
  Onion 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), diced
  Zucchini 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), diced
  Green beans 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), sliced
  Instant beef broth and seasoning mix 4 Ounce (4 Packages)
  Garlic 2 Clove (10 gm), minced
  Pepper 1⁄2 Teaspoon
Directions

MAKING
1. In a four-quart saucepan, mix together the lentils with water and allow to come to a boil
2. Turn the heat down and allow to simmer for twenty minutes; stir in the rest of the ingredients and simmer with the lid on
3. Cook, stirring once in a while, until the lentils and vegetables are tender, anyother half an hour

SERVING
4. Serve as appropriate
