Ingredients
  Beef 1 1⁄2 Pound, ground
  Ground beef 1 1⁄2 Pound
  Onion 1 , chopped
  Canned tomatoes 28 Ounce (1 Can)
  Water 2 Cup (32 tbs)
  Tomato soup 1 Can (10 oz)
  Parsley 1 Teaspoon (Sprinkle)
  Carrots 4 , chopped
  Celery stalks 3 , chopped
  Pearl barley 8 Tablespoon
  Thyme 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Bay leaf 1
  Consomme soup/2 beef bouillon cubes - in 2 cups hot water 3 Can (30 oz)
  Salt To Taste
  Pepper To Taste
Directions

MAKING
1. In a pan brown meat and onions and drain well.
2. In a large pot combine all ingredients, cook at least 2 hours.
3. Alternately use a crock pot and cook up to 8 hours.

SERVING
4. Serve the soup immediately or after freezing and reheating.
