Browned Potato And Cabbage Soup

Ingredients
  Cubed potatoes 3 Cup (48 tbs)
  Chopped cabbage 7 Cup (112 tbs)
  Water 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Chopped yellow onions 3 Cup (48 tbs)
  Yellow onions 3 Cup (48 tbs), chopped
  Corn oil 2 Teaspoon
  Whole wheat flour 2 Teaspoon
  Skim milk 2 1⁄2 Cup (40 tbs)
  Tamari 1 Tablespoon
  Cayenne pepper 1 Dash
Directions

MAKING
1. In a kettle or stockpot, heat water and cook cabbage and potatoes till tender
2. In a large skillet, add oil and saute onions in it till golden, ad flour and toss around till well coated
3. Cook, stirring, over medium flame for a couple of minutes, add milk to it gradually, stirring after each small addition; add tamari
4. Stir the sauce into the undrained potato and cabbage along with a dash of cayenne pepper
5. Allow the soup to simmer for fifteen minutes; to make thicker, remove a cup of the vegetales, process in a blender and stir it back into the soup

SERVING
6. Serve hot
