|Lentils||2 Cup (32 tbs), soaked overnight and drained|
|Chicken stock/Turkey stock||2 Quart|
|Onion||1 Small, minced|
|Turnip||1 , minced|
|Celery rib||1 , minced|
|Garlic||1 Clove (5 gm), minced or crushed|
|Tomato paste||1 Tablespoon|
|Pork sausage||1 Pound, cooked, crumbled and drained|
In a Dutch oven, combine all ingredients except sausage.
Bring to a boil; reduce heatandsimmer for 2 hours.
Add sausage and simmer an additional 1 hour.
Makes 8 to 10 servings.
