|Back bacon||1 Pound, cut in bite-size pieces|
|Homogenized milk||1⁄2 Gallon|
1. In large pot cook bacon until it is tender, not crispy and drain off fat.
2. Cut up enough potatoes to fill pot almost half full, stir them in till they brown a touch, add 1/2 gallon homogenized milk and heat slowly till potatoes are cooked but firm.
3. Thicken with flour and water.
4. Season with salt and pepper to taste and serve.
