Ginger Broccoli Soup

Ingredients
  Butter 1 Tablespoon
  Onion 1 Medium, halved and finely sliced
  Chicken stock 3 3⁄4 Cup (60 tbs)
  Water 2 1⁄2 Cup (40 tbs)
  Fresh ginger root 1 Inch, grated
  Cayenne pepper 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Lemon juice 2 Tablespoon (From 1 Lemon)
  Fresh broccoli 3⁄4 Pound, cut into bite-size florets
Directions

Melt the butter in a saucepan over medium-low heat, add the onion, and cook until it begins to brown, stirring occasionally.
Meanwhile, heat the stock, water, and grated ginger in a saucepan for 5-6 minutes.
Do not boil.
Add the onion, cayenne pepper, lemon juice, and then the broccoli to the liquid.
Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, for 7 more minutes.
Do not let the soup boil.
Serve right away.
