Cold Buttermilk Soup

Cold Buttermilk Soup recipe has got everything to 'wow' you! Great to cool off with on a hot day, you can be sure the kids will enjoy this too. I am really excited to know your opinion on this one!
Ingredients
  Egg yolks 2
  Sugar 1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)
  Buttermilk 1 Quart
  Lemon juice 1 Teaspoon
  Heavy cream 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Slivered almonds 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Strawberry jam 1 Tablespoon
Directions

MAKING
1) In a bowl, add the egg yolks and beat till thick and light yellow in color.
2) Add sugar, little at a time, beating after each addition.
3) Gently fold in the buttermilk and lemon juice.
4) Refrigerate.

SERVING
5) Top with whipped cream, almonds, and strawberry jam.
