Crockpot 13 Bean Soup

Ingredients
  13 bean soup mix 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Water/Stock 5 Cup (80 tbs)
  Smoked ham hock 1
  Onion 1⁄2 , chopped
  Tomato sauce 8 Ounce (1 Can)
  Chili powder 1⁄2 Tablespoon
  Garlic clove/1 teaspoon garlic powder 1 , minced
Directions

Into a crockpot, put the beans, water/stock, ham hock, onion, tomato sauce, chili powder and garlic clove. (Optional: also add barley.)
Cook on low for 8-10 hours.
Remove ham hock, allow to cool, and remove any meat and return that to the pot.
Optional: add pasta or meat. Allow meat to heat through for 5 minutes, or allow pasta to cook until desired tenderness, about 15 minutes.
