Lentil Broccoli Soup

Ingredients
  Dried lentils 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Onion 1⁄2 , chopped
  Cardamom 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Carrot 1 , sliced
  Celery stalk 1 , sliced
  Pepper 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Red bell pepper 1 , sliced
  Cinnamon 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Vegetable stock/Water 4 Cup (64 tbs)
  Canned tomatoes 16 Ounce (1 Can)
  Frozen broccoli spears 10 Ounce (1 Package)
  Salt To Taste
Directions

MAKING
1. Sort rinsed lentils.
2. Take a Dutch oven or saucepan, add lentils, cardamom, onions, celery, carrots, cinnamon, bell peppers, pepper and stock.
3. Allow the mixture to come to boil.
4. Lower the heat, cover and simmer for half an hour or till lentils are well done.
5. Mix in broccoli and tomatoes.
6. Cook till mixture turns tender.
7. Season with salt to taste.

SERVING
8. Serve hot.
