|Carrot||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), shredded|
|Onion||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs), chopped|
|Celery||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs), diagonally sliced|
|Canned ready-to-serve low-sodium chicken broth||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Uncooked medium egg noodles||1 1⁄2 Ounce (Or Thin)|
1.Take a 1 quart microwavable casserole and add in carrot, onion, and margarine. Microwave covered for 1 minute on high 100%. 2.Now add in 1/2 cup water and the broth. Combine well, cover and microwave for 5 minutes on high.
3. Add in the noodles and stir. Microwave covered for 3 minutes on medium. Stir every minute. Let stand so that noodles soften. This takes about 2 minutes.
4. Decorate with basil and serve immediately.
