Basic Split Pea Soup
|Split peas||500 Milliliter|
|Meaty ham bone||1|
|Onion||1 Medium, diced|
|Carrot||1 , grated|
|Water/Liquid from cooking ham||1 1⁄2 Liter|
1. With a knife, dice the ham meat from bone.
2. In 3–litre microwaveable casserole, Place all the ingredients.
3. Cover the casserole and place in the microwave.
4. In the microwave, bring to a boil by cooking for 15-20 minutes at High.
5. Cook for another 35 minutes at Medium-Low.
6. Adjust the seasoning if required.
7. Serve hot.
