Hamburger Lentil Soup

Ingredients
  Beef 1 Pound, ground
  Onions 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), chopped
  Carrots 4 , diced
  Celery ribs 3 , diced
  Garlic/1 tsp. garlic powder 1 Clove (5 gm), minced
  Tomato juice 1 Quart
  Salt 1 Tablespoon
  Dry lentils 2 Cup (32 tbs), washed with stones removed
  Water 1 Quart
  Marjoram 1⁄2 Teaspoon, dried
  Brown sugar 1 Tablespoon
Directions

MAKING
1. In a skillet, brown ground beef and onion and drain.
2. Combine all ingredients in slow cooker and cook with cover on Low 8-10 hours or High 4-6 hours.

SERVING
3. Serve as desired.
