Hamburger Lentil Soup
|Beef||1 Pound, ground|
|Onions||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), chopped|
|Carrots||4 , diced|
|Celery ribs||3 , diced|
|Garlic/1 tsp. garlic powder||1 Clove (5 gm), minced|
|Tomato juice||1 Quart|
|Dry lentils||2 Cup (32 tbs), washed with stones removed|
|Marjoram||1⁄2 Teaspoon, dried|
|Brown sugar||1 Tablespoon|
1. In a skillet, brown ground beef and onion and drain.
2. Combine all ingredients in slow cooker and cook with cover on Low 8-10 hours or High 4-6 hours.
3. Serve as desired.
