Rosemarie's Pea Soup

Ingredients
  Dried split peas 2 Cup (32 tbs)
  Water 4 Cup (64 tbs)
  Celery rib 1 , chopped
  Chopped potatoes 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Potatoes 1 Cup (16 tbs), chopped
  Carrot 1 Large, chopped
  Onion 1 Medium, chopped
  Dried thyme/Marjoram 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Bay leaf 1
  Salt 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Garlic 1 Clove (5 gm)
  Dried basil 1⁄2 Teaspoon
Directions

MAKING
1. In a slow cooker combine all ingredients and cook with cover on Low 8-12 hours or High for 6 hours, such that peas are tender.

SERVING
2. Serve as desired.
