Sweet Corn Soup

Ingredients
  Canned whole kernel sweet corn 11 Ounce (1 Tin)
  Milk 3⁄4 Pint
  Butter/Margarine 1⁄2 Ounce
  Onion 1⁄2 Small, finely chopped
  Flour 1 Teaspoon (Leveled)
  Salt 1⁄2 Teaspoon (Leveled)
  Single cream 1⁄4 Pint
  Chopped parsley 2 Tablespoon (For Garnish)
Directions

MAKING
1) In a saucepan put sweet corn and add 1/2 pint of the milk simmer for 30 minutes till tender.
2) Take off heat and rub the soup through sieve to puree.
3) Melt butter or margarine in a saucepan over low heat. Add onion and cook covered with a lid till tender.
4) Add flour, remaining milk, corn puree and the salt. Boil stirring continuously.
5) Simmer for 5 minutes, take off from heat and stir in the cream.

SERVING
6) Serve sprinkled with chopped parsley.
