Ham and Split Pea Soup

Ingredients
  Split peas 1 1⁄2 Pound
  Onion 1
  Carrot 1
  Ham 1 Pound
  Water 6 Cup (96 tbs)
  Worcestershire sauce 1 Tablespoon
  Salt 1 Teaspoon
  Pepper 1 Dash
  Cream fresh 1 Tablespoon
Directions

Wash split peas in cold water.
Place split peas, sliced onion, sliced carrot, diced ham and water in a casserole.
Add Worcestershire sauce, salt and pepper.
Cook, covered, 40 minutes.
Stir the ingredients every 10 minutes.
Let stand 8 minutes.
Serve with fresh cream on top.
