Onion and Cheese Soup

Ingredients
  Chopped onion 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Butter/Margarine 2 Tablespoon
  Flour 2 Tablespoon
  Rich milk 6 Cup (96 tbs), scalded
  Grated sharp cheddar cheese 2 Cup (32 tbs)
  Paprika To Taste
  Minced chives 1 Teaspoon
  Salt To Taste
  Pepper To Taste
Directions

Saute onions in butter until soft.
Add flour and mix; add milk gradually, stirring all the while, and heat to just below boiling.
Season and stir in cheese.
Serve sprinkled with paprika and chives.
