Yogurt And Ginger Soup

Ingredients
  Milk 2 1⁄2 Cup (40 tbs)
  Cornstarch 2 Tablespoon
  Egg yolks 2
  Plain yogurt 1 1⁄4 Cup (20 tbs)
  Sugar 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Lemon 1 , juiced
  Grated lemon rind 1
  Slivered preserved ginger 5 Tablespoon
  Ginger syrup 3 Tablespoon (From The Jar Of Preserved Ginger)
  Macaroons 12 Small
Directions

MAKING
1. In a saucepan, add all but a quarter cup of milk and bring it to a boil
2. Dissolve cornstarch In the rest of the milk and pour hot milk over it; stir well and turn it all into the saucepan
3. Allow it to boil again, stir constantly and let simmer till thick
4. In a bowl, beat eggs and yogurt; mix in a spooonful of hot milk mixture into it and then tip in all of it into the saucepan
5. Heat it gently, not boiling it; add sugar, lemon rind and juice, preserved ginger and ginger syrup

SERVING
6. Pour into four bowl, arrange three macaroons on each and serve hot or cold
