Senate Bean Soup

Ingredients
  Dried navy beans 2 Cup (32 tbs)
  Ham bone 1
  Meat 1 Cup (16 tbs) (Adjust Quantity As Needed)
  Water 3 Quart
  Cooked mashed potatoes 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Onions 3 , finely chopped
  Celery stalks with leaves 1 Bunch (100 gm), finely chopped
  Garlic 1 Clove (5 gm), minced
  Parsley 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs), finely chopped
  Salt To Taste
  Pepper To Taste
Directions

Put soaked beans, ham bone and water in kettle.
Simmer for 2 hours.
Add mashed potatoes.
Stir well.
Add onions, celery, garlic and parsley.
Simmer about 1 hour.
Remove ham bone and chop pieces of meat.
Add meat to soup.
Season to taste.
