LENTIL SOUP

Lentil Soup has enormous nutritional benefits. It is a good source of fiber, vitamin A, iron, calcium and vitamin C.
Ingredients
  Salt To Taste
  Pepper To Taste
  Lentils 1 Pound
  Butter 3 Tablespoon
  Cooked peas 1⁄2 Pound
  Onion 1 Large, sliced
  Lemon juice 1 Teaspoon
  Water 2 1⁄2 Pint
Directions

MAKING
1. Pick and wash lentils.
2. In a pan, melt butter.
3. Add onions and sauté.
4. Add lentils, water and simmer until lentils are tender.
5. Add peas and seasonings. Bring it to a boil.

SERVING
6. To serve Lentil Soup, stir in lemon juice. Serve hot.
