Beef Cabbage Soup
|Shredded cabbage||4 Cup (64 tbs)|
|Canned tomatoes||28 Ounce, cut up|
|Cubed cooked beef/Pork / lamb||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Condensed beef broth||10 1⁄4 Ounce (1 Can)|
|Water||1 Can (10 oz)|
|Onion||1 Cup (16 tbs), chopped|
|Tart apple||1 , peeled and diced|
|Lemon juice||2 Tablespoon|
In Dutch oven or large kettle combine the shredded cabbage, undrained tomatoes, meat, condensed beef broth, water, onion, apple, lemon juice, sugar, salt, and pepper.
Bring the mixture to boiling; reduce heat.
Simmer, covered, till cabbage is tender, about 30 minutes.
Ladle into soup bowls.
