White Fish Soup
|White fish||12 Ounce (Plaice, Cod, Whiting, Fresh Haddock Etc)|
|Onion piece||1 Small|
|Parsley sprig/Dill / fennel||1 Small (To Flavor)|
|Bacon||1 Teaspoon (Leveled), chopped and grilled (For Garnish)|
|Chopped parsley/Chopped dill||1 Tablespoon (For Garnish)|
Put the fish, cut into pieces, the water, onion, seasoning and parsley, dill or fennel into a pan and simmer gently until the fish is just cooked.
Rub through a sieve.
Meanwhile make a sauce with the butter, flour and milk add the fish puree and reheat, adding extra seasoning.
Garnish with chopped bacon, chopped parsley or dill.
