Cheesy Cabbage Soup

Ingredients
  Savoy cabbage 1
  Boiling chicken broth 1 Pint (Or Stock, 2 1/2 Cups Or 575 Milliliter)
  Freshly ground black pepper To Taste
  Salt To Taste
  Crusty white bread slice 4
  Parmesan cheese 2 Tablespoon
Directions

Wash the cabbage, discard any discoloured or tough leaves, quarter it and cut out the stalk.
Put the leaves in a roasting or boiling bag with a generous spoonful of water and tie the top loosely. Microwave for 6 minutes. Remove and chop the cabbage.
Put the cabbage in a large pot, pour over the boiling stock (broth) and cook, covered, for 3 minutes. Season to taste.
Lay a slice of bread in the bottom of each of 4 soup plates. Pour over the soup and serve with plenty of Parmesan cheese.
