Onion Beef Soup
|Onions||1 Pound, thinly sliced|
|Beef stock||4 1⁄2 Cup (72 tbs)|
|Steak sauce||1 Teaspoon|
|Enriched white bread slice||4 , toasted and cut into quarters|
|Grated hard cheese||4 Ounce|
|Celery salt||1 Dash|
Combine all ingredients except toast and cheese in a large saucepan.
Cover and bring to a boil; lower heat.
Simmer about 20 minutes or until onions are soft.
Divide evenly into 4 ovenproof soup bowls.
Top each with 4 toast quarters.
Sprinkle each with 1 ounce cheese.
Bake at 350°F.
until cheese melts.
