Beef Barley Soup

Ingredients
  Beef broth 1 Cup (16 tbs), Defrosted (frozen)
  All purpose flour 2 Tablespoon
  Carrots 2 Medium, thinly sliced
  Onion 1 Small, thinly sliced separated into rings
  Snipped parsley 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Barley 2 Tablespoon
  Pepper 1⁄8 Teaspoon
Directions

Remove 1/2 cup broth; blend in flour.
Combine remaining ingredients including beef and broth.
Stir in flour mixture; cover.
Microwave at High 10 minutes.
Stir.
Re-cover.
Reduce power to 50% (Medium).
Microwave 45 to 55 minutes, or until barley is tender, stirring 3 or 4 times.
