Chicken Cabbage Soup
|Chicken broth||3 Cup (48 tbs) (Either Homemade Or Canned)|
|Water||3 Cup (48 tbs)|
|Tomatoes||2 Cup (32 tbs), chopped|
|Potato||1 , peeled and chopped|
|Carrot||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), shredded|
|Celery||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), chopped|
|Onion||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), chopped|
|Cabbage||3 Cup (48 tbs), shredded|
|Cooked boneless skinless chicken||1 Cup (16 tbs), chopped|
|Lemon juice||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Granulated sugar||1 Tablespoon|
In a large saucepan combine broth, water, tomatoes, potato, carrot, celery and onion.
Add peppercorns and bay leaf.
Simmer for 1 hour, stirring occasionally.
Simmer for 10 minutes.
Add chicken, lemon juice and sugar.
Heat to serving temperature.
Remove bay leaf.
