Tomato and Onion Soup

|Thinly sliced onions||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Butter/Margarine /fat /salad oil||2 Tablespoon|
|Condensed consomme||1 Can (10 oz), undiluted|
|Water||1 Can (10 oz) (Using Soup Can As Measure)|
|Condensed tomato soup||1 Can (10 oz), undiluted|
|Milk||1 Can (10 oz) (Using Soup Can As Measure)|
|Worcestershire sauce||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
Cook onions in butter until lightly browned.
Add consomme and water; simmer, covered, 15 min.
Then add tomato soup, milk, Worcestershire sauce, and salt.
Heat, but do not boil.
