|Dried apples||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Fresh lemon juice||2 Tablespoon|
|Grated lemon peel||1 Teaspoon|
|Cinnamon sticks||2 Small|
|Dark corn syrup||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Instant tapioca||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
In a large saucepan, combine prunes, raisins, dried apples, and water.
Set aside 8 hours or overnight.
Stir in remaining ingredients.
Bring mixture to a boil over medium heat.
Reduce heat; simmer 1 hour.
Discard cinnamon sticks before serving.
Serve hot or chilled.
