Tasty Crab Soup
|Cubed red potatoes||1 Cup (16 tbs) (1/2 Inch Cubes)|
|Chopped onion||1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)|
|Vegetable oil||1 Tablespoon|
|Hot water||3 Cup (48 tbs)|
|Canned whole tomatoes||8 Ounce, drained and cut up (1 Can)|
|Instant chicken bouillon granules||2 Teaspoon|
|Ground turmeric||1⁄4 Teaspoon|
|Dried thyme leaves||1⁄8 Teaspoon|
|Canned crab meat/1 1/2 cups crab meat||6 Ounce, rinsed, drained and cartilage removed (1 Can)|
|Frozen peas||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
In 2-quart casserole, combine potatoes, onion and oil.
Microwave at High for 3 to 4 minutes, or until onion is tender-crisp, stirring once.
Stir in water, tomatoes, bouillon, turmeric, thyme and pepper.
Microwave at High for 14 to 17 minutes, or until potatoes are tender, stirring 2 or 3 times.
Stir in crab and peas.
Microwave at High for 3 to 4 minutes, or until peas are tender, stirring once.
