Seaside Pasta Soup
|Water||1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)|
|Frozen cut green beans||10 Ounce (1 Package, Italian Style)|
|Shell macaroni||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs) (Tiny Type)|
|Green onions||2 , sliced|
|Dried thyme||1 Teaspoon, crushed|
|Garlic powder||1⁄4 Teaspoon|
|Canned tomatoes||28 Ounce, cut up (1 Can)|
|Canned tuna in water/1 can, 61/2 ounce skinless, boneless salmon||9 1⁄4 Ounce, drained and broken into chunks (1 Can)|
|Grated parmesan cheese||4 Teaspoon|
In a large saucepan combine water, beans, uncooked macaroni, green onion, sugar, thyme, garlic powder, and pepper. Bring to boiling. Reduce heat. Cook, covered, for 6 to 8 minutes or till the macaroni is tender, stirring occasionally. Do not drain.
Stir in undrained tomatoes and tuna or salmon; heat through. Ladle soup into 4 bowls. Sprinkle each serving with 1 teaspoon of the Parmesan cheese.
