Cabbage And Beet Soup
|Cabbage head||2 , shredded|
|Diced cooked beets||5 Cup (80 tbs)|
|Onions||2 , diced|
|Soup stock||1 Gallon|
Combine all the ingredients in a large kettle and bring to a boil.
Pour immediately into hot sterilized jars and adjust the lids.
Process at 10 pounds pressure for 30 minutes.
To serve, place a slice of bread in each soup bowl.
Bring the soup to a boil, then pour over the bread.
Sprinkle with grated cheese.
