Rich Cream Of Asparagus Soup

Ingredients
  Asparagus 1 1⁄2 Pound
  Onion 1 , finely chopped
  Carrot 1 , thinly sliced
  Celery stalks 2 , thinly sliced
  Potatoes 2 , peeled and chopped
  Salt 1 Teaspoon
  Seasoned salt 1 Tablespoon
  Canned chicken broth 3 Cup (48 tbs)
  Light cream 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Thinly sliced boiled ham 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), cut in small pieces
Directions

Cut clean asparagus stalks into 1-inch pieces.
Place asparagus, onion, carrot, celery, potatoes, salt and broth in a 2-quart glass bowl.
Cover and microwave on high for 11 to 15 minutes until vegetables are tender.
Let stand, covered, 5 minutes.
Puree soup in a blender.
Add cream and ham.
Heat on high 5 more minutes.
