I agree with Noni on using the cooked veggies to thicken up the soup. Tossing them is such a waste! Also 2 minutes for cooking the flour is not long enough to incorporate the flavors. It takes 20 minutes for the floury taste to go away. Other than that you are adorable to watch cook!

boiled rice is a great thickner for soups too!
