Broccoli Shrimp Soup
|Milk||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Frozen broccoli||1 (Partially Thaw)|
|Shrimp||1 Can (10 oz) (Drained)|
|Chopped chives||2 Tablespoon|
|Salt||1 1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Celery salt||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Sour cream||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Butter||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Chopped onion||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
Stage1-In a bowl, melt butter.
Stage2-Add onions and cook until almost tender, about 5 minutes.
Stage3-Blend flour and 1 cup milk, gradually add remaining milk.
Stage4-Cook until milk bubbles and thickens slightly about 10 minutes.
Stage5-Add broccoli, shrimp, chives, salt and celery salt.
Stage6-Cook covered, 7 minutes, until broccoli is tender, but slightly crisp.
Stage7-Do not overcook. Mix in sour cream. Heat but do not boil.
