Clear Fruit Soup
|Cut fruit/Berries||4 Cup (64 tbs), unpeeled, rinsed|
|Water||6 Cup (96 tbs)|
|Lemon peel||1 (to taste)|
|Potato starch/Cornstarch||2 Tablespoon|
|Cold water||2 Tablespoon|
|Sugar||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Croutons||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
Combine fruit, water, cloves, cinnamon, and lemon peel; simmer until fruit begins to fall apart.
Press fruit and liquid through a sieve, discarding only the skins and pits.
Dissolve starch in water, stir into liquid, and bring to a boil.
Add sugar to taste.
Chill if desired.
