Chilled Cucumber Mint Soup
|Cream of leek soup mix||1 Ounce (1 envelope)|
|Water||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Pared chopped cucumber||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Snipped mint leaves||2 Tablespoon|
|Monosodium glutamate||2 Teaspoon|
|Milk||3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)|
1. In large saucepan combine soup mix with water; add cucumbers, mint leaves, and monosodium glutamate. Bring to a boil; then simmer 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
2. Add milk. Refrigerate until cold. Stir; then serve in mugs or soup bowls as first course.
