Fruit Soup

Ingredients
2 tablespoons sugar
2 tablespoons cornstarch
Dash of salt
2/3 cup medium red wine
1 cup hot water
1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1 cup cranberry juice
3 cups assorted fresh fruit (strawberries, sliced bananas, seedless green grapes, cut-up cantaloupe)
Sour cream or whipped topping
Directions

1. Mix sugar, cornstarch and salt in 1 1/2-quart casserole; stir in wine and water. Cover tightly and microwave on high (100%) 2 minutes; stir. Cover and microwave until mixture is thickened and clear, 2 to 4 minutes longer.
2. Stir in nutmeg and cranberry juice. Cover and refrigerate until chilled.
3. Stir in fruit. Top each serving with spoonful of sour cream.
