Cucumber And Cream Soup
1 1/2 cups diced cooked meat, chicken, beef, pork or lamb
1/2 cup diced cooked ham
1 bunch green onions, sliced
1/2 green pepper, diced
2 tbs chopped parsley
1/2 cup garlic-flavored French dressing
1 cup buttermilk
1/2 cup sour cream
Combine the first seven ingredients and chill 30 minutes.
Stir in buttermilk and sour cream.
Season with salt, pepper, garlic.
You may like a little vinegar or lemon juice or a dash of sugar.
Serve very cold garnished with chopped hard-cooked egg, sliced olives, capers or anchovies.
