Hot Potato Soup

Ingredients
  Butter 3 Tablespoon
  Leeks 3
  Potatoes 4 Large
  Water 3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)
  Milk 1 Quart
  Paprika To Taste
Directions

Melt the butter in a 2-quart pot.
Wash and chop the leeks and saute them in the butter.
Peel and slice the potatoes and add them to the leeks.
Add the water; cover.
Cook until both potatoes and leeks are soft enough to put through a sieve.
After the mixture has been put through the sieve, add hot milk to it, stirring constantly.
Season with salt and pepper.
