Cheesy Broccoli Soup
|Frozen chopped broccoli||10 Ounce (1 package)|
|Chopped onion||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Chopped green pepper||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Butter/Margarine||1 1⁄2 Tablespoon, melted|
|Milk||1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)|
|Water||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Canned cream of chicken soup||10 3⁄4 Ounce, undiluted (1 can)|
|Processed cheese spread||12 Ounce, cubed (1 loaf)|
Cook broccoli according to package directions, omitting salt; drain well.
Cook onion and pepper in butter in a large saucepan over medium heat, stirring constantly, until tender.
Add broccoli, milk, and remaining ingredients; cook, stirring frequently, until cheese melts and mixture is thoroughly heated.
