3/4 pound roughly ground beefsteak
3 tablespoons butter
3 tablespoons flour
3 cans (10 1/2 ounces each) consomme
1 large carrot, grated
1 large onion, minced
2 stalks celery, sliced
1 large tomato, peeled and chopped
1/2 teaspoon Kitchen Bouquet
Brown beef in a hot skillet; drain.
Melt butter in a large saucepan over medium heat.
Whisk in flour until absorbed.
Add consommé and cook until mixture thickens and comes to a boil.
Add browned beef and remaining ingredients; simmer for 10 minutes.
