Oyster Spinach Soup
|Milk||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Half and half||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Fresh oysters||10 , shucked and pureed|
|Cooked spinach||3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs), pureed|
|Garlic||2 Clove (10 gm), minced|
|White pepper||1⁄4 Teaspoon|
|Croutons||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
Heat milk and half-and-half in a medium saucepan over low heat.
Stir in remaining ingredients except cornstarch and croutons.
Simmer for 10 minutes.
Whisk together 1/2 cup hot soup and cornstarch; return to soup.
Simmer until soup thickens slightly.
