Black Bean Soup In Chicken Stock

Ingredients
  Black beans 1 Pound
  Bacon drippings 3 Tablespoon
  Onions 2 Medium, chopped
  Stalk celery 1 , sliced
  Garlic 4 Clove (20 gm), minced
  Chicken stock 1 Quart
  Salt 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Black pepper 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Chili powder 2 Teaspoon
  Cumin 2 Teaspoon
  Cream 1 Cup (16 tbs)
Directions

Cover beans with water and soak overnight.
Heat bacon drippings in large heavy saucepan and sauté onions, celery and garlic, stirring occasionally, until tender.
Stir in beans, stock and seasonings.
