Raw Onion Soup
|Onions||3 Large, thinly sliced|
|Freshly ground pepper||To Taste|
In a medium saucepan, heat milk to boiling; pour over sliced onions, and allow to steep 20 minutes, pressing onions occasionally with the back of a spoon to squeeze juice from them.
Strain milk back into saucepan; add nutmeg and salt and pepper to taste.
Heat and serve.
