Onion And Cheese Soup
|Chopped onions||1 Cup (16 tbs) (Mild)|
|All purpose flour||3 Tablespoon|
|Milk||4 Cup (64 tbs)|
|Sharp process american cheese||8 Ounce, shredded|
|Toasted bread rounds||8 , buttered and topped with parmesan cheese|
Melt butter; cook onion till tender but not brown.
Blend in flour, salt, and pepper.
Add milk all at once.
Cook, stirring constantly, till mixture thickens and bubbles.
Add cheese; stir to melt.
Float toast rounds, garnished with olive slices, atop.
