Onion And Cheese Soup

Ingredients
  Butter/Margarine 3 Tablespoon
  Chopped onions 1 Cup (16 tbs) (Mild)
  All purpose flour 3 Tablespoon
  Salt 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Pepper 1 Dash
  Milk 4 Cup (64 tbs)
  Sharp process american cheese 8 Ounce, shredded
  Toasted bread rounds 8 , buttered and topped with parmesan cheese
Directions

Melt butter; cook onion till tender but not brown.
Blend in flour, salt, and pepper.
Add milk all at once.
Cook, stirring constantly, till mixture thickens and bubbles.
Add cheese; stir to melt.
Float toast rounds, garnished with olive slices, atop.
