Beet Root Soup

Ingredients
  Beet root 1
  Onion 1 Large
  Maize flour 1 Teaspoon (Makki Ka Atta)
  Lemon juice 1 Teaspoon
  Butter 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Vinegar 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Water 5 Cup (80 tbs)
  Salt To Taste
  Pepper To Taste
Directions

1. Grate and boil the beetroot.
2. Dry roast the maize flour till golden in colour.
3. Saute chopped onions till light brown.
4. To this add the beetroot and salt and cook for 15 minutes.
5. Liquidize and strain.
6. Re-boil the mixture adding the maize flour and stirring constantly.
7. Remove from fire. Add lemon juice, vinegar and pepper.
