Quick Potato Soup

Ingredients
  Dry potato buds 2 Cup (32 tbs)
  Hot water 4 Cup (64 tbs)
  Salt 1 Teaspoon
  Onion 1 Large, finely chopped
  Bacon slices 4 , fried and chopped
Directions

Make mashed potatoes according to directions on package but eliminate the milk.
Add hot water and salt to potatoes.
Saute onion in bacon grease and add to potato mixture.
Top with minced parsley.
